My Origin keeps crashing or my game locks up.  Anyone having problems?  I've deleted my Cache Files .

Hi BB hi
Many Sims 4 players are experiencing quite of few bugs and crashes since the release of Get Famous and the updated Holiday Pack. Though Sims Studio has released a couple of patches so far to address the issues that are being reported, they are still working to address more problems that have arisen in the past week.
What were you doing in your game when it crashed? Any new CC?
I was having problems with the Sims 4 a few days ago with it getting "stuck" on the loading screen when my sim was coming back home from another lot. I tried deleting the cache file but nothing worked until I deleted all the standalone files in the Sims 4 folder. Doing that will reset your preferences but it might work for you, too.
Not sure what else can be done if that doesn't solve the problem for you, but if I hear of any remedy or when the next patch will come through, I will be sure to let you know.

Thanks for the info, Cinda.   Right now, I can't remember what I was doing.  Oh, one time it happened when I was building my house.  I had just about finished and it just stopped!  Shocked    I couldn't log off or anything, so had to shut it down hard.  Went back in, and everything I had done was gone.  So I rebuilt the lot again, and this time I was saying every 5-10 mins.  When I had finished and returned to the Main Menu is when it crashed again.  Can remember the other times it happened.  I cleaned out my Cache files also.  Have not played it since.


I did notice there were a few updates going on, so guess that's when they were giving us the patch.  But yeah, all that never happened until the new pack came out.
