Daily Prayer For December 14, 2017 Empty Daily Prayer For December 14, 2017

on Thu Dec 14, 2017 2:51 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

We thank you for being our defender and protector. Your Word says you will cover us with your wing…that your faithfulness will protect and defend us. We are told not to fear dangers at night, sudden attacks during the day or the evils that kill. You tell us that you have your angels around us to protect us…that you yourself will save and answer all who call upon you…when we are in trouble you will be with us…you will rescue, reward and save all who call on you and acknowledge you.
The enemy is fierce and unrelenting. We see evil at work, we feel the oppression, we see the persecution, we see the wrong things being called right, and the right being called wrong …we see those who elevate themselves above you and their hearts becoming hardened against you.  Every day we are left shaking our heads in disbelief as we hear and read the news…May all these things be a reminder to us especially during this holy season of why you came…of why we all are in need of a Savior…
Help us remember that we are held… that you will redeem what the enemy steals and destroys… that you will make right everything the enemy has meant for harm…every drop of spilled blood is precious to you…every shed tear is important to you…you grieve with those who grieve…there is coming a day when every injustice will be made right and everything that is hidden in the dark, will be revealed by your light…one day truth will prevail, good will triumph over every evil, every knee will bow before you and we will dwell in your house forever.
Please help us to be confident in the things you’ve taught us and shown us. Let us not shrink back or be afraid because your angels are encamped about us and you are with us. May we be filled with bold faith. May we push discouragement aside and not allow it to consume our minds. May the words of your mouth be the meditations of our hearts. May we stand in the gap for each other and remember that we are stronger together, that where two or three gather together you are in our midst and there is power in your name and the blood of Jesus.
You are the light and hope of the world…may  these words stick in our hearts and minds today…  May your truth strengthen, encourage and enable us to get through everything we face with your hope and peace in our hearts and your joy as our strength.
In the name of our Savior Jesus, we pray, Amen.

May you feel His presence and nearness today!

~Hope For The Brokenhearted
