Daily Prayer For December 12, 2017 Empty Daily Prayer For December 12, 2017

on Tue Dec 12, 2017 6:14 pm
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Our Father,

We thank you that during, times of sickness, trials, and pain, you are an ever-present source of comfort. We thank you for walking with us through the dark valleys of life and for offering us your Living Water…may your Living Water spring up inside of us and cause our hearts to overflow with the fullness of your joy. May we find a place of peaceful rest beside still waters today. May we find serenity in your presence and a sense of calm overtake us as we look to you, the Prince of Peace. Help us to grow in our faith…help us to mature in you so that when the storms come and the winds blow, we will be like a mighty oak that cannot be uprooted. Help us to remember that we may bend, but we won’t break. You are faithful….you are the Alpha and The Omega…The Beginning and The End… you are The Vine and we are the branches and you uphold us with your righteous right hand.

We come to you with our every need today. We ask for your tender mercy to fall upon us and we ask for your grace to sustain us. We ask that you would comfort those who mourn. We ask for physical, spiritual, emotional and mental healing… we know that you are sovereign and that nothing touches our lives that you don’t allow. We pray that you will give us a glimpse of the tapestry that you are making with our lives… for so many their lives just look like a tangled mess of pain and uncertainty…like the back side of a tapestry…but, we know that you are not finished working yet…you see the completed picture of our lives…how all the broken pieces and what look like messes, will fit together to make a beautiful portrait that reflects our Savior.

Lord, would you give those who are needing hope today, a glimpse of your glory?… would you reign down gifts that you have for us that we don’t even know to ask for? Please melt us and mold us, fill us and use us… May we rest in the knowledge that you are with us and though the enemy may prowl around seeking to harm, we are under your watchful eye and held steadfastly in your protective hand.

Great is your faithfulness, Lord, and you are so worthy to be praised. We thank you that we can come before you and ask these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.

May you be filled with His peace and comfort today!

~Hope For The Brokenhearted
