Daily Prayer For November 28, 2017 Empty Daily Prayer For November 28, 2017

Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Parents often must ask their younger children to do things that they don’t understand…parents have wisdom and the experience that their children don’t…parents ask their children to obey for their own good …they discipline them for their own good…they ask their children to trust that they are loved…their children don’t realize a parent is invested in them and their future more than anyone else… that they only have their best interests at heart. As our Heavenly Father, you also ask us to do things that we don’t understand…you only want what’s best for us and you have our best interest at our heart….you have wisdom and experience and knowledge that we don’t…you discipline and chastise those whom you love…and you are more invested us than anyone ever could be…help us to remember your Father’s heart towards us so we willingly trust and obey without hesitation or protest.

We think of the many examples in the Bible of people who you asked to do incredible things…Abraham offering Isaac…Joshua walking around the walls of Jericho….Noah building the ark…you asked them to do these things that seemed beyond impossible and made no sense… yet, when they were faithful and obedient, they were rewarded with miracles. These men become heirs of righteousness, according to their faith.

Father, you want us to have child-like faith… you want us to learn that you will not fail us… to see that you have a plan for our good that is beyond anything we could dare to dream or imagine. Lord, forgive us for our doubts, fears, questions and times we have rebelled against you. Help us to remember all the examples you’ve given us of people after your own heart…. people who became heirs of righteousness because of their faith. Help us to remember your miracles. Help us to look around our world and see all the things that were once thought to be impossible, but because of faith and perseverance, dreams and goals were realized… things were built and created… lives have been changed for the better.

Please help us to trust without question and find your peace, despite our circumstances. So many have written who are in desperate situations and are truly in need of miracles…Father, may they hear your still small voice…may they find rest in your arms…may they see you move mightily on their behalf…may they live in expectation that you, their Abba Father, have not brought them this far to abandon them now.
We thank you in advance for all you will do and we ask these things in Jesus name. Amen

Blessings be upon you all!
