Daily Prayer For April 15, 2019 Empty Daily Prayer For April 15, 2019

on Mon Apr 15, 2019 7:29 pm
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

We thank you for this new day …may we walk this week with joy in our hearts as we think about Jesus and all He did his last week on earth.  May our hearts be filled with courage and hope and our lips be filled with praise. May we bask in the love that you have lavished upon us. May we walk in the freedom that Jesus paid so dearly for…help us not to settle…help us not to be complacent…help us not to be apathetic towards you, our time spent with you in prayer, or the reading of your Word.

When we think of the actions of the apostles during Jesus’ last week, we see their failings and humanness on display…and yet they were so loved by you…used so mightily by you. May their stories remind us of your amazing grace and forgiveness.  You know who we are, inside and out…failures and shortcomings…and yet you love us and you do not define us by the things we’ve done.  Help us to view ourselves and others through your eyes. Help us not to waste another moment regretting our mistakes or failures of the past…because of Jesus, there is redemption, there is forgiveness, there is restoration and a right relationship and fellowship with you is possible.

Help us to cast off the chains and lies that the enemy tires to imprison us with to keep us from fulfilling our destiny and becoming the people who you call us to be. Help us to remember that we are people of promise, we are victorious, we are over-comers, because of Jesus. We are not who the world or anyone else says we are…we are who you say we are. We are heirs to the kingdom, washed clean by the blood of the lamb and this life is but a vapor compared to eternity. May we serve you well and make the most of our days… always mindful that the same power that raised Christ from the grave is in us. Your Holy Spirit is within us. We are blessed. We are new creations being made in His likeness. By His stripes we are healed and greater is He who is within us, than anything in this world.

Thank you for your love, Lord. Create a right spirit within us. Help us to do better and be better. May people see you in us and know that you are the reason that we live and breathe and the reason for our hope. May you be glorified in all that we say and do this week. We thank you that we can pray to you in the name of our Savior Jesus’. Amen

May your week be blessed friends!
