Daily Prayer For January 28, 2019 Empty Daily Prayer For January 28, 2019

Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

No matter where we are at and no matter what has happened in our lives, nothing has escaped you. You have seen every tear and heard every cry. You know our innermost thoughts and you understand us like no other. You know our strength is insufficient to get us through the hard things in life. You already know that we will have times when there is no fight left in us…you knew before we lived one day, how much we would need you just to survive and you made a way for us at every turn. You don’t want that fact to lead us to despair…you want it to lead us closer to you. Your word says your strength is perfected and on display in our weakness. You know we will feel weak and that is why you tell us that you give power to the weak. You have an infinite reserve just waiting for us.

When we wait on you…when we hope in you…when we rely on you…you renew our strength…you don’t ask us to do anything on our own…how gracious you are…you don’t expect us to overcome, persevere, survive, trust, or forgive in our own strength. When you say you will supply all of our needs, you don’t just mean financially, you mean you will supply the emotional, mental, physical and spiritual things we need as well.

Help us to see that admitting we are weak and at the end of ourselves is not a bad thing…it’s what you want from us so we can realize your power and strength…help us to not see our limitations as failures, but as a conduit to greater things…a fulfilling of your desires for us…a longing you have to complete us and to give us more of yourself.

We ask you today to unleash your power, grace and strength on the weary, weak and hurting. Encourage and lift the hopeless. Show your might in their circumstances and lives. We are asking, seeking and knocking and standing in the gap for those who are even too weak to pray for themselves. Renew and refresh us, Father and may your Holy Spirit breathe new life and new hope where it is needed. May people find the courage to keep holding on and trusting that you are not through working in their lives or circumstances and that you have a hope filled future for them. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

Blessings be upon you and those you love!
