Daily Prayer For January 18, 2019

Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Our Father,
Your Word that says that your plans stand firm forever. Power and might are in your hand and no one can stand against you. You work everything out to serve your purposes…we can make our plans and our enemies can plot for our harm, but it is your plans that will prevail…
We wonder how things that are so blatantly wrong can continue to happen in this world…we question when we see the wicked prospering, while the innocent are suffering and being hurt …we see what is good called evil and what is evil called good…we hear of things that people endure that are hard to comprehend…
You tell us in your Word that anyone who fights against your will is foolish. You promise justice. You are righteous and holy. You will make right every wrong and expose all that’s been hidden. There will be a day of reckoning and accountability. Please bring comfort to those who are in need and waiting to see your hand move on their behalf. May we be reassured that you are always working behind the scenes… nothing has escaped you. Please speak to our heart’s when we are going through difficult situations. Help us to remember that the truth cannot be denied. Your light will shine in the darkness and while we wait, you will comfort, reassure, give us your strength and remind us that you are the Lord God Almighty who was and is to come. The gates of h**l and the schemes of men will not prevail against you and your will.
Please help us to find rest and peace in you this day…help us to trust in your timing and your Word…help us to believe and have faith in what we can’t yet see…you use the foolish things of the world to confound the wise…your hand is not shortened that it cannot reach us and your ear is always tuned to the cries of the righteous. We praise you and thank you for your perfect plan. May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen
