Daily Prayer For January 4, 2019 Empty Daily Prayer For January 4, 2019

on Sat Jan 05, 2019 1:23 am
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Father,

How grateful we are that you sent Jesus to be our redeemer…how grateful we are that no one is ever too far gone to be redeemed by you…you see what we don’t…you see what is hidden…like an artist staring at a blank canvas, you already see the finished work and have a plan, the skills and the knowledge to complete the work that only you can see at the moment…

You, The Creator of All, see the beautiful masterpiece you are making from our lives…you see the damaged areas no one else can see…you can see all the pain and heartache…all the wounds that have never healed…all the bruises from hurtful words…all the broken, missing pieces…all that is dirty and tainted from the darkness of sin and this world and in your infinite grace, mercy and wisdom, you have a plan to bring beauty from the brokenness…you see how to weave everything together for good… we all are a work in progress and a testimony to how you can transform our lives to be better and to be more than we could begin to dream or imagine through Jesus.

In this coming year, may we really lay claim to your promises like never before…we may be damaged, but we are not beyond redemption…we may not understand all that goes on, or why things happen, but having the answers isn’t really what’s important…knowing YOU is what matters. Knowing that our Redeemer lives IS what matters…knowing that we are yours and you are ours, is what matters…this life and it’s hardships are just a passing vapor when compared to eternity…nothing in this life matters except knowing you…the evil in this world will fade away…the pain of this life will fade away and only what remains in you will remain. Thank you for standing by us. Thank you for never giving up on us. Thank you for loving us and forgiving us. Thank you for redeeming us and all that we go through in this life.

May this be the year we rise up and be all that you’ve called us to be…help us to be brave and courageous, bold and decisive and aware that the old has passed away and you are doing a new thing…you are continuing the work you have begun in us so we will be more like Jesus…help us not to settle…help us not to waste our days, time or potential…help us to surrender all that we are, so we can become all that you intended. We humbly ask these things in the name of our Savior Jesus. Amen.

Blessings be upon you friends!
