Daily Prayer For November 23, 2018 Empty Daily Prayer For November 23, 2018

Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Lord,

As we enter this Christmas season, help us to remember how many prophecies were fulfilled with the birth of Jesus…help us to remember that not one word of yours fails to come to pass…help us to keep our thoughts on you and the wonder you are during this holy season.

Your people waited 400 long years between when it was prophesied that the Messiah would come and when Jesus was actually born… you were busy lining things up and arranging things so prophecies could unfold as they were foretold. You were largely silent during that time, but it doesn’t mean that you were absent…you are faithful, we are forgetful…all too often we forget your past deeds, miracles and promises. We often grow impatient in times of waiting, but you are always working behind the scenes putting things into motion and when you say the time is right, things move and change quickly…help us to remember that this day, this week, or this coming month could be the appointed time when we see our prayers answered and dreams fulfilled.

Help us to stand and not give up…We don’t know what tomorrow holds, but we know that you hold it and that you will fulfill your promises and your plan in each of our lives. You will reward us if we don’t grow weary in doing well. You will finish the good work you have started in each of us. Help us keep our eyes on you and not the clock, the calendar or any other thing that might try to weigh us down or make us forget your power and promises.

When we are called to wait on you, help us to feed our spirit and mind consistently with the truth from your Word…as a body needs nourishment, so does our soul…Your Word is our spiritual daily bread…it is manna you have provided for us to feed our minds and nourish our spirits. May we be ever mindful that we serve a risen Lord and you are not finished working yet!

We re-dedicate our lives to you and ask that you heal us, cleanse us and make us more like our Savior. May we fall more in love with you with each passing day. With humble, thankful hearts we pray to you and ask these things in Jesus’ name. Amen

May you have a blessed day.
