Daily Prayer For November 9, 2018

on Fri Nov 09, 2018 10:20 am
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

As we come together today we pray for all who are being affected by the fires in CA…so many have lost everything…thousands are evacuated and are living with uncertainty, anxiety and fear at this moment… so many can’t find their loved ones because phone service is affected and they are so concerned…we can only imagine how frightening it is for the people who are fleeing and for those who love them and can’t find them…

Many are grieving after the shooting in Thousand Oaks… we pray for your peace and your comfort to blanket those who are hurting, grieving, anxious, worried and fearful today… we ask for your protection for the many firefighters, police officers, line-men, volunteers and emergency personnel who risk so much for the welfare of others and to keep things up and running in emergencies …please give them supernatural strength and energy and the resources they need and bless them for the many ways that they bless others.

Lord, we ask you to calm the winds that are fueling these fires…we pray for miracle rain to pour out from the heavens…to see rain would truly be a miracle, but we know nothing is too hard for you…we pray for your mercy and grace so the firefighter’s can gain ground and get the upper hand in these out of control, rapidly growing infernos that are causing such unimaginable devastation. We look to you this day…we know where our help comes from, it comes from you The Maker of heaven and earth…we intercede for the many around the globe who are in need of your help today…

There is so much that we cannot do…so much that goes on that we are helpless to change…but we know prayer is not a last resort… it is the best thing we can do, because it takes our cares, concerns and problems to you and you are The One who can make a difference…you are The One who commands the winds, waves and rain…you are The One who still sits on the throne and who is fully in control…You are The One who saves, heals, delivers, comforts, redeems, restores and changes the hearts of men…

We put our trust and faith in you and we stand in the gap for those who are hurting and in need… we grieve with those who grieve and we intercede as you’ve taught us to…life is such a fleeting and precious gift…when we see disasters and catastrophes, it puts things into proper perspective…it makes us realize how much of our energy and time is spent on things that just don’t matter in light of eternity …may we all love better, not take anything for granted and may we live with gratitude in our hearts and in peace with all men…may we treat each other kinder, show more grace and mercy and truly realize that the greatest things in life are rarely things…thank you for being in our midst and we are thankful for our Savior Jesus in whose name we ask these things. Amen

Blessings be upon you friends!
