Daily Prayer For May 30, 2018
on Thu May 31, 2018 11:44 pm
Hello, Friends! I’m feeling led to re-post this prayer…
Dear Lord,
May we be reminded today what a privilege it is to be your child…to be called, chosen and known by you. May we be reminded today about the fire and zeal that we had when we first came to Christ. May we carry with us the light of Jesus that made everything become so clear at the foot of the cross. May we remember the amazing grace that reached down and gave us new sight and saved us. You gave us all that we might live. You have invested in our lives with the precious blood of Jesus…you are not about to abandon us, forsake us, turn us away, or fail us. We struggle against our adversary in this world…we have battles that are hard-fought and not easily won, but we know to whom the victory belongs and we are grateful.
When we are in times where we are called to wait on you, help us to feed our spirit’s consistently and faithfully from your Word…it is manna you have provided for us to feed our souls and nourish our spirits…it is our spiritual daily bread. May we be ever mindful that we serve a risen Lord and you are not finished with us yet!
We thank you for each breath we take and each heartbeat that sustains us. Help us to cast off and not entertain any discouraging thoughts…help us to remember that this day…this week or this coming month could be the appointed time when we see our prayers answered and dreams fulfilled. Help us to stand and not give up…We don’t know what tomorrow holds, but we know that you hold it and that you will fulfill your promises and your plan in each of our lives. You will reward us if we don’t grow weary in doing well. You will finish the good work you have started in each of us. Help us keep our eyes on you and not the clock, the calendar or any other thing that might try to weigh us down or make us forget your power and promises.
We re-dedicate our lives to you and ask that you heal us, cleanse us and make us more like our Savior.
In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen
Praying that you will grow in His knowledge and grace.
