Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up to you all who are struggling today. We pray for those who are missing loved ones. We pray for your comfort and peace when they are filled with sadness and when they are longing to hear their loved one’s voice… to see and hold their loved one just one more time…
For all who are dealing with health issues…for all who are in pain…for all who are sick either from the flu or viruses that are going around…for all whose chronic conditions are flared up… for all who are dealing with inoperable or incurable illnesses, injuries or diseases… we pray for your healing touch… We pray for your mercy. We pray for miracles in the name of Jesus and ask if it be your will, to take these heavy burdens away and bring healing and hope.
We pray for caregivers… we pray for their strength to be renewed and for help to carry the heavy load on the lonely road they find themselves on… it’s easy to be sad, overwhelmed and discouraged in the face of illnesses and injuries that linger and there is no relief in sight. It’s hard to watch those we love suffer. Lord, please rain down your grace and mercy like rain on dry parched ground. May the hurting and the helpers, find you in new ways in the midst of such hard places.
May all who are praying find that place of perfect peace that defies human understanding… sometimes it feels like we are failing at life…we feel overwhelmed and sometimes forgotten in the midst of our struggles…but you are faithful and you are full of compassion and lovingkindness …your heart hurts when we hurt and you stand beside us to wipe our tears…may people feel your nearness today.

Please give us your joy in the midst of the tough days…help us to grow strong in faith and so intimately acquainted with you that we have a feeling of deep, abiding trust, peace and confidence that you are working for our good even when we can’t see signs of it. Give us patience in our times of waiting and help us to fix our eyes on you, instead of the worries, cares, and pain that surrounds us. Help us to remember that everything we go through now will be so worth it when we hear you say “well, done, my good and faithful servant. Enter into my rest and peace.” Please bless everyone who is praying with us in ways they have never known before…ways they couldn’t even begin to imagine. In the name of Jesus, we ask these things. Amen

May you find rest in His presence today!
